MyVoltControl is specifically designed for the Chevrolet Volt and related models, including the Chevrolet Bolt, Cadillac ELR, Cadillac CT6, Opel Ampera, Holden Volt, and Opel Ampera-e.

Utilizing an OBD adapter compliant with the ELM327 specification, MyVoltControl offers various compatible options such as the OBDLink MX+ and OBDLink MX-WiFi OBD adapters, Bluetooth-Low-Energy and generic WiFi OBD adapters.

MyVoltControl merges four established functionalities into one accessible app for the iPhone and iPad platform, introducing unique features specific to this application:

• MyVoltHold: Offers information pages and allows users to engage a "Hold" mode simulating the internal combustion engine operation to maintain a specific charge level. It also provides options to run or turn off the internal combustion engine.
• MyVoltLifetime: Enables users to reset the lifetime fuel economy value and calculate distance traveled in EV mode or using the internal combustion engine.
• MyVoltDiag: Allows users to conduct tests on the high-voltage battery.
• MyVoltAfterblow: Grants control over a system in the car that dries out A/C vents. This feature requires a specific type of OBD adapter with SWCAN bus support.
• MyVolt12v: Displays graphs illustrating voltage and current values on the 12-volt battery.

Note: The Volt Hold, Volt Lifetime, and Volt Afterblow functions have specific limitations and functionalities based on car models and model years.
